1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Mercy Court Church Management System ("ChurchMS"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the system.

2. Description of Service

ChurchMS is a church management platform provided by Mercy Court for managing membership records, attendance tracking, follow-up ministry, and communication with members and ministers.

3. User Accounts
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must notify your church administrator immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
  • Accounts are created and managed by church administrators. You may not share your login credentials with others.
4. SMS Communications & Consent

By providing your phone number to Mercy Court, you expressly consent to receive SMS text messages from us. These messages include but are not limited to:

  • Password reset notifications
  • Ministry assignment notifications
  • Self-service portal links
  • Church announcements and communications

Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on church activity and your role.

Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

Opt-out: You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by contacting your church administrator to remove your phone number from the system. Upon opt-out, you will no longer receive any SMS communications from ChurchMS.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ChurchMS only for its intended purposes. You shall not:

  • Attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you
  • Use the system to send unsolicited or unauthorized messages
  • Attempt to interfere with the system's operation or security
  • Use member data obtained through the system for commercial purposes
6. Data & Privacy

Your use of ChurchMS is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Limitation of Liability

ChurchMS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Mercy Court shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of or inability to use the system, including but not limited to loss of data, unauthorized access, or service interruptions.

8. Modifications

Mercy Court reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of ChurchMS after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Termination

Mercy Court may suspend or terminate your access to ChurchMS at any time, with or without cause, at the discretion of the church administration.
